What is going on over at CBS? First they had a story a few months ago on their "Sunday Morning" program about Rip Esselstyn and some firefighters in Austin who eat vegan while they are on duty. He wrote a book called
The Engine 2 Diet. They also talked with Rip's dad, Dr. Esselstyn, who advocates lowering cholesterol by diet alone and not through medication. Anyway, as I was walking through the living room I saw a woman making food and say something about organic and I was interested. On "60 Minutes" they were talking to Alice Waters, who is a food advocate and created an awesome restaurant in Berkley. She convinced a school to allow kids to take a class on gardening and then teaching them how to cook the food they grow! *melts* When the kids started talking about composting and I wanted to cry! You can find the Alice Waters' story
